Business Systems Analyst - Salesforce Admin

Contract to Hire

Remote

TOP REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience working in Utilization Management / Prior Authorization workstream in the healthcare industry (3+ Years)

• Certified Salesforce Administration (will consider candidate working towards certification)

• Agile experience in a product owner role or business systems analyst role (2+  years)

LOCATION: Remote

•** Cannot provide sponsorship upon conversion.

TEAM STRUCTURE: Product team - 2 Product owners for UM, CRM and Appeals and grievances. 2 Technical Integration Teams and 1 Salesforce Team - 2 scrum masters, 3 Dev Leads and approximately 40 developers (including QA) total.

If so, please describe the team? 

• The Product team is comprised of 30+ product owners and business systems analysts who translate business requirements into solutions and work with engineering teams to lead in the build of those solutions.

What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? 

• Collaborates with core product team to design, build and test changes to the core product, whether as a product enhancement or as part of a client implementation.

• Leads and/or participates in client model office sessions to align client requirements to core product capabilities

• Collaborates with business, product and engineering resources to build detailed specifications for customizations and/or configuration of the Optum product to meet client requirements.

• Supports business team in configuring and enhancing Salesforce based application

• Collaborates with QA resources to build robust test plans to assure a quality product that meets functional requirements.

• Works independently and/or collaborates on client deliverable, following documentation standards, and aligning content to core product capabilities.

• Participates in responses to requests for proposals, aligning RFP requirements to core product capabilities, writing proposal content and assessing the level of effort required to fulfill responsibilities.

• Travel as required to client sites for implementation activities and/or client locations for collaboration with client teams.

What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities?

• Certified Salesforce Administration (will consider candidate working towards certification)

What skills/attributes are a must have?

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

• 5+  years of IT experience in a business/systems analyst or similar role

• 3+  years in client facing roles for requirements, design, testing and/or go-live activities

• Experience working in Utilization Management / Prior Authorization workstream in the healthcare industry

• Agile experience in a product owner role or business systems analyst role

• Experience in working in cross-functional/cross-geography teams

• Exceptional communication skills, evidenced by the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of an organization in writing, verbally and via visualizations

• Ability to work independently with limited general supervision

What skills/attributes are nice to have?

• Familiarity with Rally

What are the work hours? 
8am-5pm
