Who we are looking for:

ACV Auctions is looking for a Salesforce Administrator who will be responsible for completing tasks and projects required to maintain and enhance ACV's Salesforce and related application instances. You will work alongside product and engineering professionals dedicated to propelling the user experience and optimizing applications to help meet department and company goals.

Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent skill and maturity, be self-motivated as well as team-oriented, and have the ability to support end users and product teams with development and implementation of solutions. Those who will excel in this role will be those who listen with an ear to the overarching goal, not just the immediate concern that started the query.

What will you do:

  • Foster an environment based on collaborative learning and development
  • Provide tier two support for incoming Salesforce technical issues, bug fixes and assisting end users by obtaining additional information to properly solve issues and/or direct them to the correct business partners as necessary
  • Regularly perform data loading, de-duping and cleanup procedures utilizing the data loader tool
  • Create and manage Salesforce custom objects, fields, record types, page layouts, validation rules and Lightning components; managing user records, profiles, roles, permission sets, and sharing settings; and configuring flows and approval processes
  • Develop and maintain documentation of Salesforce solutions and business processes
  • Provide guidance and support to Salesforce Admins and peers, including assisting with declarative reviews
  • Convert workflow rules and process builders to flows while understanding the business context
  • Collaborate across teams to understand complex business problems and assist with technical solutions.
  • Work closely with Sales and Operational team leads to identify usage problems and craft technical / communication plans to fix
  • Learn business functions and how they relate to one another by collaborating with both technical and non-technical resources.
  • Follow Salesforce development lifecycle, utilizing Copado.

What you will need:

  • Ability to articulate Salesforce functionality to audiences with little Salesforce experience.
  • Proactive team driven mindset
  • Ability to self-direct and independently problem solve
  • Advanced understanding of the Salesforce platform and declarative tools
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to assess information from multiple sources and resolve conflicts

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of technical support experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience leading teams and delivering projects
  • Experience working with various stakeholders
  • One or more current Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience acting as a Salesforce or CRM administrator and leading projects
  • Business education and/or experience
  • Additional Salesforce certifications (Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, etc.)
