Build and enhance Salesforce functionality for multiple lines of business. At Ameritas, our mission is Fulfilling Life. Maintain and enhance Salesforce for 400+ users in multiple lines of business. Identify, define, and implement solutions in response to the needs of Salesforce users to resolve issues. Enhance Salesforce functionality and usability to improve adoption by users and increase the return on investment for the platform. Help deliver the enterprise Salesforce strategy and contribute to its evolution. What you do * Design and build innovation solutions to meet or exceed business requirements that align to our future state strategy and vision. * Continuously seek opportunities for improvement. * Employ working system knowledge and time estimating techniques to gather and develop estimates for project forecasting and budgeting. * Monitor and identify trends in Salesforce.com adoption and utilization. Keep abreast of Salesforce releases, features and best practices. * Collaborate on enterprise architecture as well as functional and technical design sessions with stakeholders. * Navigate, escalate, and lead efforts on complex requests or projects involving multiple stakeholder groups and systems. * Support new and existing Salesforce user base with questions and issues in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. * Provide test planning and execution input and assistance as needed. What you bring * Bachelor college level degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; and 4+ years of experience with Salesforce. * Deep knowledge of SalesForce.com product and features, capabilities, best use and how to deploy new capabilities, including knowledge of the Salesforce.com platform and ecosystem. * Extensive experience in writing APEX logic required. * Extensive knowledge of governor limits required. * Extensive integration experience with third-party platforms via web services (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML). * Experience with Aura or Lightning web Components and Lightning Design System. * Experience developing solutions using SOQL, Visualforce and Javascript. * Experience with platform events would be a plus but not required. * Ideal candidate will have Platform Developer 1 and 2 (PD1) and (PDII) certification. * SCRUM or Agile experience a plus. * Salesforce.com product certifications are a plus (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Developer, Service Cloud Consultant or Sales Cloud Consultant).
