*looking for a strategic person who has a background in Salesforce Administration that can work with the business leaders (VP Sales) to make sure the Salesforce environment is in line with Sales Operations needs

*ideally looking for someone with a Sales Operations background + strong Salesforce Administration leadership

*Client outsources Salesforce development to a 3rd party company – this person will oversee that vendor relationship and will oversee 2 Salesforce Admins on the team.

Job Title:  Manager, IT Commercial Applications (Salesforce)
Required Qualifications:
• At least 5+ years of Salesforce SalesCloud administration experience
• Active Salesforce Certified Administrator
• Strong business acumen and commercial experience - experience in sales operations or similar role preferred.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications in a diverse, multi-divisional organization with multiple stakeholders
• Strong project management and leadership skills
• Minimum expectation of a Bachelors degree OR equivalent education/experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Job Overview:
The Manager, IT Commercial Applications will work as part of the Information Technology team that is responsible for the overall support and maintenance of our expanding Salesforce platform used by 300+ sales representatives across multiple market segments.  In supporting Salesforce, this role will collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders including divisional sales leaders, sales operations, marketing, and information technology.  In addition, this role will collaborate with other colleagues in architecting our global commercial system offerings.
The Manager, IT Commercial Applications will interface directly with leaders from our sales and marketing teams to discuss commercial goals and requirements, address reported questions and issues, promote system adoption, provide training, and manage system changes.  Strong business and technical acumen is required, as well as strong communication and collaborative skills.
Reporting Structure:
The Manager, IT Commercial Applications will report directly to the Vice President, Information Technology.  The position will supervise an internal Salesforce Administrator and a third-party technical application management provider.
Responsibilities and Duties:
•Manage the day-to-day support of our Salesforce platform which currently consists of SalesCloud CRM and Pardot.  
•Ensure integrations between Salesforce and ERP systems are monitored and issues addressed in order to maintain the data integrity of both systems
•Lead and manage the Salesforce change control process in order to fulfill the requirements of our commercial teams while maintaining the uniformity offered by a single CRM system
•Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on how to maximize the Salesforce CRM application.  • Perform gap analysis of our current Salesforce environment and provide recommendations for improvement that assist the business teams in achieving their goals and objectives.
•Assist in the implementation of Salesforce CRM to newly acquired organizations
•Develop new custom reports and dashboards
•User security administration including administering user security profiles, grant/removal of licenses, and maintaining security sharing rules and security levels
•Create custom objects such as creating screens, tabs, views, filters, validation rules, workflows, approvals, custom fields, relationships, and reports/dashboards
•Manage new releases and their rollout to our commercial teams
