The Salesforce Administrator position is a self-driven individual with a \u201cget it done\u201d mentality that has a passion for helping the organization solve complex business and technology problems. This job requires gathering extensive knowledge of company business operations, unusually high analysis capability, and a thorough understanding of the system development and implementation process, likely on more than one significant business change project. S(he) will work as part of the team dedicated to ensuring that we are maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of the system based on the various user group needs. This person will have excellent technical and communication skills who can interface directly with internal stakeholders to understand their needs in order to administer and enhance the system accordingly. This person will also serve as the \'go to\' for users, promote adoption, keep current on new releases and AppExchange solutions, provide training, administer and work the Salesforce Helpdesk and more.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing to support to business users
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for Knauf’s Salesforce environment
  • Provide technical guidance to the development of Salesforce applications to support business strategies
  • Develop and maintain best practices and standards supporting the platform and drive adoption
  • Be a credible subject matter expert for the organization on business processes and their alignment to Salesforce solutions
  • Look for synergies between various SaaS product offerings in terms of application and offer guidance in utilization
  • Use tools to identify, align, and change the factors that affect performance, stability, and teaming
  • Working with Salesforce Architect, ensure proper translation of business requirements into a set of structured business process, knowledge, technology, and organization specifications that satisfy the client’s strategic and operational objectives
  • Work with senior managers of the benefits of change in situation where there is significant resistance, and likely disruption to business
  • Act as expert point of escalation for issues related to the platform
  • Identify best practices and client performance gaps, if any
  • Ensure proper handover and translation into business processes

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Info Management systems or related major
  •  
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator (201)
  • Certified Salesforce Advanced Administrator (211) (preferred)
  • Certified Salesforce App Builder (preferred)

Experience:

  • Minimum three (3) to five (5) years’ experience as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Prefer experience with Pardot, Demand Tools, Dataloader
  • Strong background in design and development of enterprise systems as part of a complete software development lifecycle
  • Experience with ETL tools
  • Experience with highly complex projects/programs
  • Experience leading change initiatives relative to business processes, policy rollouts and IT solutions
  • Experience analyzing data and making pragmatic decisions that benefit an organization

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Create and Manage Changes to the System -

  • Proactively seek out and identify needed system changes.
  • Proactively gather feedback from users.
  • Manage system changes without interruption to the user.
  • Communicate system changes to the users in advance so they understand the change and how to use it prior to implementation.

  • Modify the system to increase benefits and usability.
  • Manage the change control process and \u201cChange Management\u201d Committee if appropriate.
  • Manage all processes that impact / relate to Salesforce
  • Manage new releases of Salesforce and efficiently roll out new features.
  • Maintain fields, views, reports, dashboards, campaigns and other salesforce objects and functions.
  • Provide support functions as needed.

Maintain System, Security and Integrity -

  • Map Salesforce hierarchy and territories in response to personnel changes.
  • Reassign Accounts, Contacts, and Opportunities in response to personnel changes.
  • Grant/ remove and maintain user licenses.
  • Maintain security including sharing rules and security levels.
  • Design, Create and maintain user roles, profiles and hierarchies.
  • Monitor application storage usage and archive data as needed.

User Assistance, Training, Adoption and Satisfaction -

  • Administer and work Salesforce Help Desk.
  • Provide training as needed to end users on an on\u2010going basis.
  • Continually seek ways to further enhance the end\u2010user experience.

Documentation and Maintenance -

  • Document company processes and workflows.
  • Develop process documentation and field maps.

Data Quality, Migration and Maintenance -

  • Assist with migration from older systems/processes into Salesforce.com.
  • Monitor neglected Leads, Opportunities, Accounts, and Contacts as appropriate.
  • Import data as appropriate.
  • Monitor and manage exception logs for back end system integration with Salesforce.
  • Manage duplicate records.
  • Monitor and improve data quality.
  • Ensure data integrity by merging duplicate Leads, Contacts, and Accounts; performing mass uploads and updates of data as required; Removing unnecessary fields and data; ensuring screens, fields and workflow have accurate names and reflect current workflow.

Report and Dashboard Maintenance -

  • Maintain folder maintenance.
  • Build and manage report folders for reps to improve sales efficiency.
