We provide high-end technical services, research and development, and prototype solutions to some of the country's most challenging technical problems. Job Number: 1143 Riverside Research Institute is seeking a Salesforce Architect with expertise in the SalesforceForce.com Platform to join a team of engineers, scientists, and technical advisors supporting the Defense Innovation Unit. Location: Location is flexible, but ideally Mountain View, CA. Responsibilities * Provide technical expertise and customized support on the Salesforce platform and Salesforce Ecosystem/AppExchange to support an organization with 300+ users with diverse business needs * Collaborate with federal/DoD organizational leadership and functional teams to establish robust processes supporting administrative, development, and change/innovation management activities * Design and implement scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform to meet emerging business requirements * Coordinate the evaluation, scoping, and execution of new development requests * Incorporate software and system architecture into conceptual designs while ensuring alignment with enterprise technology standards (e.g. solution patterns, solution diagrams, application frameworks, technology roadmaps) * Drive evaluation and selection of customizations or Appexchange applications to best address business requirements * Design Complex Enterprise Solutions using the Salesforce Platform and Salesforce Ecosystem/AppExchange, etc * Drive the creation of technical solution document and design documents leveraging Salesforce's best practices * Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization * Serve as primary system administrator for the Lightning Salesforce.com environment * Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, and other routine tasks * Maintain custom objects, custom buttons/actions, formulas, validation rules, flows, workflows, process builders, approvals, and assignment rules * Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades * Manage Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations * Collaborate with developers in setting standards and driving quality coding practices. * Establish technical best practices and/or align with organization best practices * Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies/products/trends related to architectural solutions Required Qualifications: * 5+ years of Salesforce Solutions Architect experience including a detailed understanding of CRM core and integrated application architecture * Experience as a Salesforce.com administrator in a Lightning org * Experience in IT solution delivery and architecture design * Expert-Level understanding of the Salesforce Force.com (http://force.com/) Platform * Experience with Apex, Visualforce, Triggers, SOQL & SOSL * Strong web development skills including JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript Scripting Languages, DHTML, SOAP and AJAX * Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret (TS) security clearance * US Citizen Desired Qualifications: * Saleforce.com and other relevant technical certifications * Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred * Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. Citizenship.
