The Business Analyst will perform the role of Salesforce Administrator on an Agile scrum team developing key capabilities for the Contact Center utilizing Salesforce at UnitedHealth Group.  The Salesforce Business Analyst identifies and implements solutions to meet business requirements utilizing the Salesforce platform.  They will also perform system administrator tasks such as user provisioning and reporting.  They also work to maintain the application’s core functionalities as to ensure a consistent user experience.

This leader will work with key business and IT partners to develop strategic plans for the technologies impacting Member and Provider services call centers. This individual is a self-starter; with the ability to identify and pursue opportunities without being provided explicit direction. Solid presentation skills, analytic skills, a desire for continuous learning, and a passion for improving consumer experiences using technology are essential.

Primary Responsibilities:

Planning:

  • Reviews user stories and creates appropriate tasks for completion
  • Consults with scrum team during user story refining  

Execution:

  • Practical understanding of Scrum principles and practices
  • Works closely with IT and Architecture Team to represent solutions and features at platform level
  • Actively participates in Product Backlog grooming sessions, retrospectives, defect management and project team’s release planning sessions
  • Accessible for the team to answer questions, and during Sprint planning sessions, and Daily Scrum
  • Maintains and manages user base in production
  • Completes application configurations per business requirements
  • Keeps up to date with new Salesforce features and releases

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in business/finance analysis
  • Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures
  • Intermediate profiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Health care industry experience
  • Business value documents (BVD) writing experience
  • Presentation creation and delivery experience
  • Identifying, documenting and delivering cost benefit savings (CBA) experience
  • Problem solving, follow-through and resolution skills
  • Excellent communication, time / project management, organizational, and analytical skills

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary/hourly range for Colorado residents is $64,800 to $116,000. The salary/hourly range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $71,400 to $127,400. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
