Position Description
The SFDC developer is responsible for design and implementation of Sales, Service Cloud or Force.com custom solutions taking into account the right balance between declarative vs programmatic development as well as the Salesforce coding limits and best practices. Client uses a variety of Salesforce instances consisting of different Salesforce solutions.

We are looking for a Lead Salesforce developer in Houston who is experienced on Community Cloud development & Salesforce APIs. They would need to be a hands-on lead developer, as they are expected to both create the detailed design and develop the application. We need someone who is comfortable with custom UI development on the Salesforce platform (that includes JS, CSS, etc.). The developer will be supported by a team from Bangalore that is already in place. Preferred location is Houston (alternate locations can be considered for skilled candidates).

Individual will work largely independently within defined projects/work streams and is focused on end results. Has an executional role in design and development projects or acts as an expert tester who designs test scripts and provides overall project guidance and planning support. Advises internally on solving functional and technical problems regarding the assigned applications and Infrastructure.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Design and implement solutions on Force.com platform
• Understand the requirement of a functional specification or user stories, ensure it's completeness for next steps
• Document technical solution design
• Run a quality assessment of a counterparts' code
• Resolve defects during test cycles and hypercare
• Adhere to the release and Change process Requirements

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• At least 5 years development experience
• At least 4 years Salesforce.com development experience (triggers, apex classes, VisualForce pages).
• Expert in Web Development (Ajax, JavaScript, SOAP, HTTP, CSS Bootstrap)
• Expert in Salesforce.com declarative configuration skills.
• Hands-On development experience of Communities is must.
• Data migration between SFDC environments using change sets, Eclipse or other tools.
• Experience with version control solutions (e.g. Github, Sourcetree).
• Salesforce developer 401 certification.
• Salesforce Advanced developer 501 certification level 1.
• Experience with Agile development (product backlog, user stories etc)
• Ability to participate in design sessions, review options and provide recommendations while communicating the benefits, risks, and constraints to both the business and IT stakeholders
• Creative, out of the box thinker, who uses his technical experience to develop apps that create real business benefit
• Must be a well-motivated team player
• Organized and methodical, eye for detail
• Experienced virtual team worker Need senior Salesforce lead expert to help configure Service Cloud and work with SF COE team as well as provide 3rd party vendors to support .com changes.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with SSO, FAAS (preferred).
• Experience with ERP integration (preferred).
