Salesforce Developer and Support Engineer (REMOTE)

About the role:

As a Salesforce Developer and Support Engineer, you???ll play a vital role. We are looking for an individual that can help us continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform, guided by experienced Salesforce Developers in our IT team. Developer and Support Engineer profile gives you opportunity to expand your expertise across the Salesforce Platform. Working with developers from other teams and helping them find and fix the issues to their business cases will always keep you engaged and motivated at work.

Salesforce Developer and Support Engineer Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and assist other developers and teams to troubleshoot the issues on salesforce.com platform, Enhance and maintain the integrations and functionality built by the project teams with salesforce.com standard and custom APIs, Apex, LWCs and implementation of other salesforce.com developer products. This will involve debugging, troubleshooting, and taking responsibility to see that the issue is fully resolved. Be on-call support developer for critical production issues.

Salesforce Developer and Support Engineer Experience/Skills Required:

  • 3 to 6 years support/programming work experience
  • Salesforce product knowledge, Sales Cloud knowledge
  • Proficient knowledge of object-oriented patterns and methodologies
  • Experience implementing and developing in Apex
  • Lightning Experience ??? Lighting Web Components & Aura
  • Modern Javascript
  • Apex (Synchronous and Asynchronous)
  • Integration ??? REST/SOAP/Bulk API
  • Debugging/Troubleshooting Errors
  • Sites /Communities/ Force.com
  • SOQL/SOSL
  • Deployment- Metadata API/CLI
  • Flows/Process Builder
  • Authentication, SSO/Auth Provider
  • Event driven architecture ??? Platform Events, Streaming API, Change data capture
  • Field Service Lightning (FSL)
  • Visual Work Flow Designing/Implementation
  • Workflow rules (Deprecating but still active as of right now)
  • Process builder (Deprecating but still active as of right now)
  • Approval Processes
  • Omni Channel
  • SMS Functionality
  • Chat Functionality
  • Validation Rules
  • Page Layouts
  • Lightning Page Layouts
  • Reports and Dashboards
  • Create technical documentation
  • Knowledge of best practices and Salesforce.com governor limits, ability and willingness of following them throughout implementation

Salesforce Developer and Support Engineer Experience/Skills Desired:

  • Deployment and release management experience
  • Experience with source control and versioning tools and best practices
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM201 Certified)
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (DEV401 Certified)
  • Being experienced in agile methodologies
  • Experience with DocuSign API
