Your Role:

MilliporeSigma is going through an innovative data-driven transformation. We are looking for an energetic individual with high business acumen.  The Salesforce Functional Consultant will partner with our Life Science SFDC Admin community, IT, CRM Governance PMO, and SFDC/Vendor partners to implement solutions for the Process Solutions business that accelerate decision-making, increase customer/business insights, and improve productivity.

In this role, expect to:

  • Scout technological options in analytics, integration of data & systems including SFDC and other technology options to solve specific business needs/challenges. 
  • Explore new capabilities within the Salesforce ecosystem, including business values from Artificial Intelligence -Tableau CRM, Discovery/Scoring, or similar solutions to power next best actions enabling quick decision making for users and reduce process variation among various global vs local subunits. 
  • Act as a key member/lead of agile project team to create and deliver requirements/user stories, implementation and rollout plans, features specifications, business process flow design, recommendations on the scope, and conduct POC evaluation. 
  • Play an active supporting role during the RFP for the vendor selection process to evaluate the best fit for the organization. 
  • Facilitate project demand tracking, prioritization process, and meaningful KPI measurements. 
  • Act as a mentor to team members and expert for knowledge sharing with the Process Solutions organization

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS degree with 8+ years of experience in an industry setting or MS with 3+ years of experience
  • 3 + years experience in implementing CRM projects covering Sales and Service processes  
  • 2+ years working on complex projects as part of core team or project lead covering the complex landscape of multiple integrated systems like Salesforce, SAP/Oracle, Informatica/Dell Boomi, or SAP PI
  • Experience with Agile Scrum project methodology
  • Minimum SFDC Admin Certification +1 other Salesforce certifications
  • Experience configuring and implementing the latest Salesforce products
  • Understanding of data integration processes, data quality, and data security efforts
  • Experience researching and implementing solution using both configuration and customization techniques like Apex and Visualforce
  • Ability to display creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong accountability for managing stakeholder, providing updates to leadership with solid written communication and organizational skills
  • 15% global travel or less expected

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Consulting experience and skilled with technologies such as Salesforce and CRM solutions. 
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud, Eloqua, or similar marketing application
  • Experience with Field Service and/or Community cloud a plus
  • CPQ Certification and/or Platform App Builder certification a plus
