Arthrex is a global medical device company and leader in orthopedics medical education. With a corporate mission of Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better, Arthrex has pioneered the field of arthroscopy and develops more than 1,000 innovative products and procedures each year that support all aspects of orthopedics. The IT Center of Excellence (CoE) team based in Naples, FL is seeking an Intern to provide support and information to assist Salesforce CoE. Specifically, this position will research best practices of Salesforce CRM software, suggest how to complement company processes with Salesforce functionality, and implement approved processes. The successful candidate will be pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Mathematics.
This internship will run from May 2022 – August 2022. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work at least 30 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.
To gain on-the-job learning experience in Salesforce.com, salesforce configuration, data management and related business processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Input customer data into Salesforce CRM tool
Learn and analyze current Salesforce functionality
Work with internal Salesforce Admins and users to provide support as needed
Research best practices and utilization of Salesforce in the medical device industry
Create reports and dashboards to effectively communicate data and trends
Analyze, interpret, and distill data to provide valuable and actionable information to business partners
- This is an in-office position located in Naples, FL; it is not a remote position.
Education and Experience:
Progress towards a college degree in a related field required, preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science or Mathematics. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.)
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
Basic to intermediate computer skills. Be able to follow written and verbal direction.
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
