Job Details

The Associate Manager, Brand Marketing will be responsible for helping the Salesforce.org social team coordinate their organic social media strategy, working across Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube. This role offers an exciting opportunity on a supportive team to grow valuable skills and learn firsthand about digital marketing in tech! This role will be instrumental in helping the team stay organized, keep on top of their data analysis, and brainstorm creative ideas. We are looking for storytellers who are willing to amplify the voices of our customers and communicate research to stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

Content Creation and Channel Management

  • Craft copy for social posts across channels (everything from events, to blogs, to thought leadership articles)

  • Own YouTube channel uploads

  • Use photoshop/illustrator to create quick graphics for social media

  • Maintain & update social media style guide & strategy deck

  • Devise new creative content ideas

Data Analysis

  • Pull weekly and monthly metrics for social posts across channels

  • Share insights from data pulled (engagement trends, high and low performers, content types)

  • Monitor competitor stats (engagement, channel growth, etc.)

  • Research new trends in social landscape

Content Calendar

  • Manage and build out social content calendar

  • Post content daily across channels

  • Devise strategy for daily social media holidays

Community Engagement

  • Identify opportunities across channels to interact with audience

  • Reply to people who have mentioned us

  • Look out for dangerous or negative at mentions

  • Build repartee with with other SFDC & partner handles

Skills and Aptitudes:

  • Willingness to learn and be open minded

  • Passionate about social media and campaigns

  • Creative thinker with copywriting experience

  • Good eye for visual design

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organization and attention to detail (no typo would ever pass by on your watch)

  • Sense of humor always a plus
