ALTA IT has a Contract to Hire position open for a Salesforce Technical Architect. 

100% Remote

Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance – US Citizen

As a Salesforce Technical Architect supporting MATS, the ideal candidate will be trusted to own and deliver complex solutions supporting Marketplace initiatives. In this role, a typical day will include:

• Providing technical expertise in the planning, analysis, implementation and delivery of innovative solutions around Salesforce and other cloud platforms
• Contributing in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in interactive technologies, websites, cloud architectures, applications and open-source technologies
• Providing technical guidance in the creation, maintenance and upgrading CRM platform and websites
• Leading architectural discussions
• Administering complex configuration, integration, and maintenance of Salesforce
• Making system enhancements and modifications based on evolving business requirements
• Managing data migrations between active systems
• Ensuring that Salesforce always operates; troubleshoots and problems solves system and/or technology issues for all areas of the program
• Ensuring data and systems are adequately safeguarded and backed up; systems operate in compliance with the IT Security regulations
• Developing an understanding of strategic business needs and provides insight and recommendations to program leadership for technological solutions to meet business objectives
• Leading and facilitates related continuous improvement initiatives and activities
• Driving client objectives and goals to completion by leveraging strong collaborations across internal and external stakeholders
• Working with client to provide Proof of Concept trails of new developers for evaluation, as necessary

 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• 15+ years of experience designing, developing and administrating CRMs platforms and platforms and hybrid cloud solution, with at least
• Valid Salesforce Technical Architect Certification – MUST PROVIDE VALID CERTIFCATION NUMBER WHEN SUBMITTING CANDIDATE
• Experience with Salesforce Development including Lightning Components, Visualforce, APEX, SOQL, and SOSL
• Experience with Python or Java programming
• Experience developing APIs
• Experience on the Salesforce Lightning Platform including Process Builder, Workflows, Lightning App Builder, etc.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, and/or Kanban
• Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications using SOAP, REST, BULK and Streaming APIs
• Must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
• US Citizen

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Salesforce Application Architect and/or Salesforce System Architect certification(s)
• Healthcare Service Industry and/or Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services experience
• Thorough knowledge of software development through automation tools
• Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills
• Past experience in Federal IT systems and development processes
• Salesforce certifications in Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud
• Experience with one or more programming or scripting languages, such as Python
• Experience with modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, XML, REST, and JavaScript
