Position Summary

The Senior Salesforce Administrator is responsible for supporting Columbia College through the implementation and maintenance of the Salesforce platform including Service, Sales, Marketing, and Experience clouds. The incumbent collaborates with the Executive Director, Information Technology and Strategic Analytics; the Senior Director, Application Services; the Project Manager IT/Analytics; and the Director, Data Analytics to plan, implement, and executive all activities related to the College's Salesforce CRM platform. Additionally, the Senior Salesforce Administrator assists with project management, roadmap development, and overall strategic planning.

Responsibilities

* Collaborates with internal clients to assist with defining strategy, content, and features for their applications.
* Participates in the day-to-day operations of applications and systems for CCIT in support of the College's administrative departments.
* Engages in unit, integration, and acceptance testing of Salesforce applications.
* Produces technical and end-user documentation for the Salesforce CRM.
* Monitors components of the College's Salesforce platform.
* Applies Salesforce and industry-standard best practices to the Salesforce platform.
* Researches add-on application packages and support analysis for acquisition of applicable programs.
* Performs user support and training for College end users.
* Manages scoping and planning of various CRM-related projects and initiatives.
* Provides support for end users.
* Performs routine administration functions for our Salesforce platform.
* Designs, develops, and implements specific initiatives to improve data quality and security, and improve features within the Salesforce platform.
* Builds and distributes Salesforce reports and dashboards.
* Manages multiple projects with varying time frames and deliverables based on priorities, schedule, and resources.
* Supports the Technology Advisory Committee (TAC) by actively helping to organize sessions, facilitate inter-unit collaboration, and identify projects that are necessary to meet the strategic priorities and mission of the College.
* Collaborates with internal clients representing College units and departments to understand their business models and goals to help define strategy, content and features for design of their applications.
* Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree with three (3) to five (5) years of related Salesforce experience.
* Extensive experience with Salesforce customization and configuration, including: custom objects, flows, workflow and validation rules, triggers, permissions and sharing, and reporting.
* Familiarity and experience with project management principles and practices.
* Experience with Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
* Outstanding attention to detail, as well as ability to conceive of the larger picture in relation to strategic planning.
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under short and changing deadlines, while ensuring timely and accurate execution.
* Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
* Proven record of collaborative and independent work.
* Ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, and tact in a professional setting.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with the Salesforce development ecosystem, including Apex, SOQL, SOSL, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
* Experience with the Salesforce Education Data Architecture (EDA) model.
* Experience with reporting tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
* Experience with data integration tools, such as Jitterbit or SSIS.
* Understanding of key Salesforce architectural concepts (e.g. API and governor limits, security models, and techniques).
* Ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via new Salesforce technology, API integrations, or other AppExchange products.
* Salesforce.com Certified Administrator (ADM 201) certification in current standing.
* Experience with Marketing Cloud.
* Familiarity with web development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
