eXcell has a Direct Hire opportunity to join a leading, innovative, and best-in-class organization in the medical treatment field. They are looking for a Senior Salesforce Analyst (Sales & Marketing) to join their growing global team. 

We're looking for candidates within 350 miles of MA. The position is located in Westford.
We are looking for a Sales and Marketing IS business partner with not only deep Salesforce technical knowledge but also a comprehensive understanding of the business drivers, processes, and context foundational to both Sales and Marketing in the Medical Devices Industry. The right person for this opportunity is just as comfortable working in the Sales and Marketing teams as they are in Information Services. You will work alongside the Sales and Marketing leadership teams to identify, implement, and drive excellent execution of key strategic programs and support services. Leveraging our managed services providers, you will lead implementation and support teams to deliver outstanding Sales and Marketing processes complemented by excellence in Salesforce business process and data-driven analytics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • The ideal candidate has spent at least the last 4+ years configuring / managing Salesforce with a focus on opportunity management, account / contact management, territory management, and quoting in a global capital sales organization – preferably in medical devices
  • Must have a solid understanding of the existing business processes, the key drivers, and measures of success for the business, and the short- and long-term direction of the business and related technologies worldwide
  • Work with Sales and Marketing to architect and implement the simplest, scalable digital path to purchase and post-sale processes possible
  • Build partnerships with the business, providers, and other organizations to create innovative solutions and align business priorities to the broad business goals and be accountable for the results
  • Work with a managed services team to develop user stories and process flows to support the design and development of Salesforce solutions optimized to drive excellence in Sales and Marketing operations
  • You will be expected to use and recommend best practices while delivering scalable high-quality solutions
  • Work with the analytics team to identify, develop, and implement data-rich Power BI dashboards and KPIs designed to optimally run and drive the Sales and Marketing teams - internationally
  • Be on top of what is possible by staying current in Sales and Marketing trends
  • Work with Marketing on a digital transformation comprehensive of targeting both the Healthcare Professional and the end consumer.
  • Work with Sales and Marketing to develop and implement a lead management and customer master accuracy / cleanliness program
  • Own and manage KPIs alongside the business to reflect optimal business processes
  • Work with and manage outside service partners to ensure the effective delivery of operational IS services
  • Assist Information Systems Leadership with the development of the IS Services Delivery strategy
  • Ensure the IS portfolio adds value and results in continuous improvement and a sustainable IS environment
  • Ensure the highest quality solutions by leveraging and following a comprehensive change control process
  • Identify and implement opportunities for training our Sales and Marketing constituents in industry best practices
  • Bachelor's degree required – preferably in Business, IT, or Computer Science (or equivalent)
  • Master's degree preferred
  • certification (Administrator, Advanced Administrator)
  • Training / Certifications in Power BI, QLIK, or equivalent analytics tool a plus
  • 3-5 years of proven experience as a business systems analyst / partner
  • 2-4 years of experience including Sales cloud, CPQ (Steelbrick)
  • 1-2 years of Quote to cash experience in a capital sales cycle a plus
  • 3+ years configuring Salesforce Sales / Marketing Cloud inclusive of CPQ, opportunity management, lead management, case management, and territory management
  • Architect experience on implementation projects
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP a plus
  • Familiarity with EMEA and APAC Localization requirements
  • Familiarity with a sales commission process driven by Salesforce a plus
  • Familiarity with Marketo and Showpad a plus
  • Experience working with Salesforce developers
  • Clear understanding of Salesforce's technical capabilities and limitations
  • Knowledge of Contract Management a plus
  • Well versed in soft skills to easily explain the benefits of technology strategies in plain business language
  • Skilled in influencing and energizing an organization to move towards new business process opportunities
  • Aptitude for and excited about focusing on the business side of technical problems rather than being hands-on within the Salesforce platform
  • Curious, collaborative, detail-oriented, and self-motivated - you know how to use those skills to drive adoption, facilitate change, and improve business results
  • Strong Matrix Management of cross-functional global resources
  • Well versed in Salesforce administration and comfortable giving direction to a managed services provider for building and administrating a worldwide integrated Salesforce platform
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining successful relationships across complex functions, IT Partners, and the wider IS community
